Paralegal
Amy Swickheimer joined San Diego Law Firm as a Paralegal and works directly with all attorneys and staff carrying out various tasks, including preparing and filing legal documents, processing client files, and working directly with clients. She is also involved in various community relations and marketing projects.
Amy grew up in the military and has lived all over, including Italy (her birthplace), Louisiana, and Texas. Amy graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas with a Masters Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Before moving to San Diego with her husband, she directed state and federal homeland security activities over a seven-county region in Texas.
Amy works closely with a number of community organizations. She volunteers in helping the elderly in assisted living and in adult day care facilities, the developmentally disabled, and foster youth living apart from their siblings.
Amy lives in Otay Ranch and on the weekends enjoys hiking, going to the movies, eating Mexican food, and watching LSU and Saints football. Amy also loves cats, traveling, singing, 80’s movies, and anything Joss Whedon writes.
